I love this knife. I had one like this for many years (10 or more I think). About 2 years ago it broke so, I bought a different brand (one less expensive) and it didn't last 2 years. I guess you get what you pay for. The stand it comes with is great. Whenever I need the knife it's right there, just plug it in and go. I would recommend this knife to anyone that likes fresh baked, sliced bread, it cuts like butter. As for carving nothing cuts better.

I mainly use the product to cut meat but the bread blades provided will be very useful for cutting italian bread. It comes on an attractive stand, is easy to assemble, fits my hand perfectly, and is easy to put away. I had a standing rib roast and it cut thru the meat like it was butter and it also easily separated the bones. I have already recommended it.

It works great but the base isn't as sturdy as I'd like it to be. That's my only complaint. It looks very nice on our counter.

The Cuisinart Electric Knife looks nice in the countertop holder. It's very convenient & ergonomic, and I just wash off the blades ... no mess. Also, I like the way the blades lock into the holder.
