I love the sound and the portablility of these speakers! It is the best accessory I have bought for my IPod. I do not need all the fancy things that come with other types of speakers; I would rather have an item that is the best at one thing than be sort of good at a lot of things. The only down fall is that I have to take my IPod out of the case I bought for it in order for it to fit in the dock. But that is no big deal is it? If you are looking for speakers with great sound, can be taken with you anywhere, and don't need a clock/radio then look no further!

I use this for my office and outdoor activities. The sound is very good, however it can easily get way to loud for an office and I mean this in a good way :)

The Bose Soundock is such a great and easy product to use. I was pleasantly suprised how great it sounded. It's portability and playlist remote is a plus. The rebate for the Soundock Portable travel bag was a great incentive. I am now looking into other Bose products.

This is great. I was wavering btwn the portable version and not and I am glad I went with the portable. It still has a plug if needed but being able to pick it up and go is so easy. We used to move our bose cd player outside whenever we had a party, but now we just just pick our playlist on our ipod and bring this out. there is plenty of sound to fill our large yard.
