I use this to grind coffee beans and it works very well. What seems like electrostatic effects requires wiping plastic drawer and insertion areas with tissue after withdrawing the drawer full of the ground coffee.

First time we tried to use it the timer ran but the grinder motor did not. Capressa replaced it within a week and the second one is perfect. It grinds easily and the fact that it is made of metal makes it seem very solid and also reduces noise.

Customer service was very helpful. They immediately approved a replacement for a non functioning unit. Received it within a week after returning the old one.

This is perfect for one or two pots of drip-coffee every day. The finest "medium" grind setting is appropriate; the machine holds the setting and the grind is consistent. The best feature is that it's easy to clean the bean chamber and the burrs once a week. I don't use the machine for espresso and don't know how it would do with finer grinds.

After being disappointed with the inexpensive blade grinders, I gave up and had the coffee shop grind the bag of coffee when I bought. However, flavor suffered after the first four or five days. Also, in our rural area, the grind was not always right, so I had to buy in bulk when we went to Phoenix. All of that has changed with the Capresso Infinity Burr Grinder. I do grind a few days of coffee at a time, since the clean-up takes time - and it really is important to clean it out each time so there is no stale ground coffee around the burrs for the next grinding. Our coffee has never tasted better!
