Europeans and South Americans alike invest in an electric teapot and are accustomed to the plastic, solid colored pots. This one looks sharp on the kitchen counter. It's easy to clean, safe and boils an entire pot of water in less than a minute.

I love using the pot to preboil water for pasta.

We use it several times per day. It heats quickly. It has an automatic shut-off. It looks good on the countertop. And, it's interesting to actually watch the water come to a boil, through it's clear glass pot (not in some plastic water heater). We would recommend it to others.
