Essick Air 11 Gallon Humidifier - ED11910

We have an Aprilaire whole house humidifier on our furnace but our heat doesnt run enough as we use a wood fireplace to keep our home warm so an additional humidifier was needed. Impressed with the look of this-stylish and digital-easy to fill and it doesnt take much water at all (it comes with sample liquid bacteria rid away) it has wheels-easy to move, we keep in our family room & it has worked wonders-our noses are not all dry and crusty! Its not an ultrasonic so it does not leave everything white either! During the day i leave it set at 50 but when we run fireplace i do turn it up to maximum 65 & it is automatic so it kicks in when needed. There are 9 different fan settings-we leave it at 1 & is good-any higher would probably use more water but also does get noisier. it doesnt bother us watching tv and by turning it down at night-we dont hear it kick on as we sleep. absolutely love this product!

We use this in our master bedroom, and wanted a high capacity humidifier (i) to make sure it could put out enough humidity; and (ii) to avoid needing to fill it frequently with water. This has been a good purchase. It is a medium-large size, but it is on wheels. Easy to fill and operate, and effective. During set-up, I had a small problem getting it to work, but I called the customer service hotline, and they immediately identified the issue, which was an easy fix on the float. We recommend this, and it has worked well.

This has been our coldest and snowiest winter on record. My husband and I live in a farm house that we recently renovated. It's 150+ years old so there is a lot of wood and stone throughout. Because of the severe winter weather this year, we noticed a lot of the wood within the house and even some furniture cracking and separating at seams. When we started waking up with dry mouth and noticed our hair breaking off, we knew we had to do something. Our basement floor does not have a drain, so a whole-house humidifier attached to the furnace was not an option. We decided on the next best thing - the Essick Air 11 Gallon Humidifier. Even though our house is larger than the 2300 sq ft this product is designed for, it helps out tremendously. We noticed a difference immediately in our health. I've placed the humidifier at the bottom of the stairs in our basement family room. The humidifier stayed on almost constantly for the first 2 wks since our house was so dry. As far as noise, at lower settings (1-5) it is no more noticeable than the whole-house a/c coming on or a clothes dryer. At higher settings it is more noticeable, but not a horrible nuisance. I would much prefer that noise to the health/home problems we were dealing with.

Decent product. Use it in our living room. The item is pretty loud and the humidistat reading never seems to change. Looks good. Can't tell if it's really doing anything. Never seems to reach it's humidity target. Maybe the room is too big?

very loud in all but lowest setting. humidity sensor never changes, always shows 45%. set on 50% and it never quits running.

We have had other humidifiers that were portable, they required a lot of attention , this one does'nt , it's even better than my furnace humidifier, which is not working and why I went with your product which I am really pleased I purchased. Thanks , it was money well spent.
