The remote sensor on my DirecTV box stopped working rendering my IR remote useless. DirecTV customer "service" said I would need to pay for a service call instead of just sending me an RF remote. DirecTV can screw, the RF remote I ordered solved my problem and works just fine.

This remote allowed me to share a receiver between 2 rooms and performs as if the receiver is in the room. Completely seemless to the user.
