De’Longhi introduces the Complete Frontal Access Drip Coffee Maker to ensure that anyone can brew a quality cup of coffee with ease.

De’Longhi’s new DCF212T allows you to access the water tank by opening the handle on the front door and easily pour water into the tank. This innovation, a perfect example of De’Longhi’s thoughtful design philosophy, eliminates the hassle of pulling out your coffee maker from under the cabinet and reaching for the tank in the back. You can save even more precious morning time with the Complete Frontal Access’s permanent long lasting gold-tone filter. Quality coffee is simplified with the use of De’Longhi’s aroma button. Press this button to activate a unique brewing process that enhances the flavor and the aroma of your coffee. Water is released into the filter basket in 30-second intervals. This time-released brewing process only saturates coffee grounds a little each cycle, resulting in an even better aroma and full-bodied flavor.

If you are motivated to get your first cup of coffee immediately, don’t worry: the Complete Frontal Access also has a “pause-and-serve” function that permits you to interrupt the brewing cycle whenever you need to. Inadequate specifics on line

Eagerly anticipated using this product on a counter below a microwave.....only to find that directions in the box stated that it required at least 8 inches of clearance above it (in which case the big advantage of front loading would be moot)and we had only 4. Coffee maker therefore returned unused.

Design Flaw in Carafe makes it unusable.

Has some nice features, but with a serious flaw in the design of the carafe. I've owned two of them (I'm a slow learner) in the past ten months and the same problem occurred with each. With regular use, a crack will form at the bottom of the handle causing the carafe to leak and risk breaking when full. The top of the handle is poorly secured, while the bottom is attached to a metal band. The result is increased pressure on the too-thin glass of the lower portion of the carafe - and it cracks. This happened twice even though I only brew a half-pot on most days. When the coffee leaks, it boils on the hot plate and makes the carafe stick to it - a dangerous situation for trying to pick it up since there is already a crack there.

I found this product originally in [@] on display. Repeated trips showed me that the reorder for out of stock items is on some kind of cycle independent of actual demand. Further, store employees seemed uninterested in helping and sought no way to see that I was satisfied.What appealed to me the most was being able to add water to the unit without having to move it out from underneath a cabinet. Discovering that it is easy to clean, brews quickly, and has a feature that makes the coffee even richer is a plus. I would like to see it in red but black pretty much goes with everything. It makes a good cup of coffee.

Very Sexy Machine and it works great!

We have used this machine everyday since we got it. It is a very attractive machine and the cup warmer is a nice bonus too. I put my cups on the night before, set the timer and in the morning I get up and have warm cups and hot coffee. I like the fact that it is filter-free too. Pouring the water in the machine is no longer a problem since we just pull the drawer out and voila. Coffee tastes great. I haven't noticed the coffee temperature to be a problem at all. It is always hot - maybe because I use the timer most of the time. Even setting the time and the timer was easy. I didn't even have to resort to using the instruction manual. The aroma brew thing hasn't worked very well for me. It takes too long so I always end up canceling that. I highly recommend this machine. It looks great on the counter and it is functional too!

This coffee maker is a little slow in making coffee (with the aroma brew turned on), but it is definitely worth the wait...it makes excellent flavorful coffee without using tons of coffee to do it. And if you want your first cup even a bit stronger (like I do in the morning) you can use the pause feature and sneak a cup before it is done. The design is excellent, no need to pull out the coffee maker to fill it with water or coffee, just a handy little swing out. You will love this coffee maker!

Although I wish the silver accents on the coffee maker had more of a brushed stainless look, I love being able to set it up and clean it up without ever taking it out from under the cabinet space. The water level indicator does get a bit of condensation after brewing, but that clears up pretty quickly.
