BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

We bought Delonghi because we loved our old one so much, but it finally broke. I'm sure the new one will work fine but it looks like so many others on the market now (stainless steel) not the funky Italian design it used to have, and it is made now in China, not Italy, and has a 'cheaper' feel to the construction than our old one. Then again, all the toaster ovens we looked at were made in China, and I'm sure we will be happy with Delonghi.

Perfect Bagels Every Time!

BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

I have purchased countless toasters that have all been disappointing for various reasons - this is the first time I have had an appliance that makes perfect toast/bagels every time. I have used it to reheat leftover food, pizza and chicken fingers - it's a great way to efficiently maintain the crispness. I have not used it to bake anything from scratch so cannot comment on that, but my aunt has had a Delonghi toaster oven for about 10 years and would buy nothing else. I have thanked her many times over the last 3 weeks for recommending it. It's great! It has a timer for toast only, not bake, but I use the timer on my microwave or stove - so it's no problem. I didn't give it 5 stars because I have not used all the features yet (convection, broil, slow bake, or defrost). Even my 10 year old loves to use it, and it fits perfectly on my counter (under my upper cabinets)with enough room to safely vent!

We use this oven quite often rather than turning on our large Thermador ovens for heating up pizzas and pot pies. It saves us on the electrical bill as well as doing a great job for it's intended purposes.

i luv this oven. quick cooking, even temperature. wish it had a timer, but i had a timer in the house and used that to assist. has a light, easy to clean, and, came with 2 cookie sheets that were not listed on the accessory note. you won't be disappointed.

I have used to bake and broil. Have had no problems with it. I love to be able to bake and not heat up the whole house.Delivery of item was extremly fast. I couldn't believe how quickly it came. Great service!!I would do business with ABT again

THIS IS A WONDERFUL TOASTER/CONVECTION OVEN. COMPARED TO CUISINART, KITCHENAID, ETC... FOR THE PRICE, I WOULD RATHER BUY TWO OF THESE. IT'S QUIET WHEN THE CONVECTION FAN IS ON. IT'S ALMOST FOOL PROOF WHEN IT COMES TO COOKING ANYTHING IN THE DELONGHI CONVECTION OVEN. YOUR FOOD COMES OUT PERFECT, MOIST, EVENLY COOKED... I HAVE COOKED CHICKEN, HAM, PORK, STEAK, RIBS, CAKE, PIZZA... AND THE END RESULT IS PERFECTLY COOKED FOOD EVERY TIME. THE OVEN IS A TAF SMALL IN SIZE, .5 CUBIC FEET, BUT IF YOU'RE NOT COOKING FOR MORE THAN 4, THEN IT'S JUST RIGHT. ALSO, THE ONE SIDE WHERE THE FAN BLOWS OUT THE AIR ON THE CONVECTION SETTING, TENDS TO COOK A SMALL PART OF THE FOOD A BIT FASTER BUT NOT BY MUCH OF A DIFFERENCE, MAYBE 10% MORE COOKED IN SMALL AREA. OVERALL I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS OVEN AND GIVE IT 9 OUT OF 10 STARS IF YOU DON'T NEED TO COOK A LOT OF FOOD AT ONE TIMEAND IT'S DEFINTELY AN ENERGY SAVER!
