BOTTOM LINE No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Only washes and dries 3 towels at a time. Takes all day to do 2 loads. This is the worst washer and dryer. Had 2 Maytags that lasted for 14 years each.Broke down while still under warrenty.I hate this machine. Will never buy another Fridgedaire product.No fabric sotftener dispenser in washer.

If you need a stackable small washer/dryer, this is a good buy. Very happy with it, yes it's a little noisy but it's not the end of the world. Not a deal breaker. We didn't have a lot of options with the space we have, but this worked out great. [...]

"Large capacity" is a misnomer or a subjective term. The wash tub is so small it can only handle a couple pairs of jeans or bath towels per load. A buzzer ON/OFF switch would be a plus.
