BOTTOM LINE No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This dishwasher was installed by our builder, we did not upgrade. Our family room opens up to the kitchen. Not a good idea for this dishwasher. It is very loud so we only ran it when we weren't watching TV or when we were out of the house. The racks are metal covered with plastic. After a year of use the backs of my dishes have small rust dots on them in a circular pattern because the plastic wore off. So now every one of my porcelain dishes are ruined.

Pros:	Cleans Well
Cons:	Doesn't Dry Well, Loud
Best Uses:	Smaller Kitchens

BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

S0-so at first. Actually, once we switched to a better environmentally and biodegradable dishwashing powder rather than the Cascade Liquid we were using, the performance of the wash cycle has greatly improved.

This product does not actually clean anything pre-rinsed or not. You get what you pay for. We exchanged for another product.

BOTTOM LINE No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It's extremely energy efficient and qualifies for the max rebate because of that but gimme a break...if you have to prewash everything with a little food left on it, just wash it by hand. Don't bother with this one.
