Most of us have been indocrinated with the belief that "you get what you pay for." The negative is that we may tend to reject things that cost less, on the belief that they can't be any good if they are priced way lower than "comparables." This product is fine and is excellent value if: 1) you don't neeed side-to-side movement of the tv, and 2) you can insure that the holes you will drill to mount it will result in its being level. This product has no facility to correct for holes not being plumb (I'm not sure why; it would be so easy - all they would need to do is create a slot for the lower fastner mount). For those of us that do not earn their livelihood through the practice of carpentry it's still simple - drill the upper hole and fasten the screw fairly tightly (the upper screw is going to support most of the weight, the lower primarily keeps the bracket from rotating) and check to see it's level, then drill the second hole. The product is sturdy and will do the job for which it is intended at a fraction of the cost of similar products.

We mounted a flat screen in our master bath and it works fine. The only thing is that it only rotates up and down not sideways so be sure you have a tv with 170+ viewing range otherwise you'll need to spend more money on a mounting device that swivels. But for the price, this one works great.
