We've had our Electrolux range for over a year now and we've been very happy with it. Everytime we visit friends' and families' homes, we always wish that they had a better range so we can cook just as quickly as we do at home. Stir-fry is never a problem with our 18,000 BTU burner. Love it!!!

Love the top gas part of the stove, but the motor for the convection oven is noisy and hums loudly at times. Had the motor replaced once and now have intermittent loud humming noises. Oven tends to heat uneven, too. Cookies baked on convection bake at the exact same time & cookie size: some burn, especially the edges, while other sheets of cookies come out perfect.

Best thing I ever did for my kitchen
By Albany Chef
Comments about Electrolux 30" Black Dual Fuel Freestanding Gas Range:
Bought this stove as part of the entire kitchen suite for our newly remodeled kitchen.. this stove is amazing.. really love the even heating and performance of the oven.. the vast cooking options make everything really simple... the convection feature is wonderful... on the down side I do have one of the racks removed from the oven so I can use a large Dutch Oven situated in the center of the oven.. the gas burners are great.. you do however have to watch that the flames dont come up over the sides of the pot.. the pot handles get really hot.. I like gas burners but I think from a heating standpoint and handles on pots getting too hot to touch I like electric stovetop.. all in all I love my stove.. Do get one..!

I have only had this product for a little over a month but I love it. It is very stylish and easy to use. The gas cook top heats quickly and is very easy to keep clean. The oven has more features than I have ever seen in an oven. Oven heats up quickly and if you use the built in thermometer you will never overcook food again.

Gas is better for stove top and electric for oven. Still learning about the features, but so far very happy.
Great combination range
The gas burners and the large convection oven is great but the lower oven is slow to heat and doesn't do a great job with pastries. I rarely use the lower over because of this. I love the style and features of this range as feel that I get a better baking product with the electric range.

Best of both worlds
This is my second dual-fuel range(different brand) and I have to say that it has many more great features than my previous range. I love using it and would recommend it to my friends.

Best stove I ever owned
I love the oven racks. It makes it so easy to put pans in and out of the oven. It was great using both the ovens when baking cookies for the holidays. I cook with Pampered Chef stones and the cast iron grates on top of the stove are great for placing the stones after they come out of the oven. I do not have to worry about scratching any surfaces. This is the first dual fuel stove I have ever had. I previously owned an all electric stove. I love the even baking and cooking that the Electrolux gives me. Previously I had to switch shelves while baking and move pots to different burners to prevent burning. The timers could be a little louder. When in another room they are sometimes hard to hear.

would still like to comment on this stove. For the most part, I really like it. I like the duel fuel aspect because I like electric for baking and gas for cooking. The baking is very even. I love the easy glide shelves although they do take up more room in the oven. The top is easy to clean and I like how the grids can be put in the dishwasher. For cons, however, I do think the biggest burner should be on the left or right front as large skillets do not "center" properly over the largest burner in the back because they hit the back control panel. I also think the timer should have a "timed out" feature after it has beeped for a couple minutes. The same goes for when there is a power outage Example: We had a power outage while we were on vacation and the person staying with my pets did not know he needed to press a cancel button to get the control panel to go off after the electric was restored. Consequently a light in the bake temperature burned out (the vertical bar in the number "5" in 350 was gone. Had there been a timed out feature this would not have happened. I also just recently set the oven for a timed bake. The casserole was to stop at 4:30 pm. I got home about 4:20 pm. When it did beep at 4:30 pm it beeped continually until I shut it off. If I had not gotten home until 5 pm or later, even though the oven was off, I believe it would have still been beeping. I do not know if it would have burned out something else as it did with the "5" but I certainly would not want that to happen. Overall, I would like to say I really do like this stove, and I would not hesitate to buy it again, but I did want to point out the above items for future designs.

Best range ever!
This range is awesome! I does everything we need it to do and more. My husband has a hobby making artisanal breads, and the bread proofing option is wonderful. Thank you for making such a wonderful product.

I LOVE my new Range
The very first thing I did when I bought my new home last year was go straight to the store and purchase a new Electrolux Range. I had not even moved in before I had it hooked up and I LOVE my purchase! I did have a couple of questions but the Electrolux company quickly answered all my questions. Baking is so even and it browns beautifully! The easy slide drawers are amazing. Best of all, I have a tiny oven on th bottom of the unit instead of a storage area. I can cook a whole Holiday meal for my family with no problem at all!
Cook like a Chef!
Having 5 burners of different sizes is so useful; the perfect simmer burner is a must as well as the 14,000 BTU large burner. I feel very professional when I use this range. There are several amazing features I love about the wave-touch duel fuel range but one of my favorite is the rapid preheat for the oven. You don't have to worry if you forget to preheat at the beginning of starting your preparations. And the blue color of the oven gives it that European feel which is an added plus. The one thing I find that's a little awkward is trying to change the oven racks around since the spring lever has to be pushed in at the same time you're pulling out the rack The wave-touch activated glass control panel is easy to use and keep clean. I just love cooking on my Electrolux wave touch range.
