One of the best purchases I've ever made

BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

I bought this to take on a weekend camping trip with my 2yr. old granddaughter. She ended up sick for most of the weekend so this really came in handy when she didn't feel like playing. It's so easy to use, even she can do it! The battery never gave out, the sound and picture is good. I recorded dvd's for her on my tv and they played in this with no problems. Love this product!

BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

I owned a small DVD player before but the sound quality was very poor. I was so impressed with the sound and volume this one had. The picture is great. The controls are easy to use and easy to read. I am a hundred percent satisfied and would highly recommend this player to anyone. I just used it on vacation in the car and was able to hook it to the TV and play a movie on it. We love it.

After purchasing several cheapies for my teenage son, I finally decided to do some research and spend a few dollors more and not buy a new one every year. I have had this model for over a year and never had one problem with it. I just recently bought the same model for my grand daughter after she had trouble with the cheapie ones. Just spend a few dollar more for this model and never have to worry about buying another one again. This is double tough with great video and sound. I like the way you can use it in the house and in the car.

Panasonic DVD Portable Player are best to my standard. It is easy to operate, handy and very effecient in its performance. The battery is great it can do as it says to do. When you look for a product like this, think that expensive type are more durable and effecient and can do other features than those of the cheaper quality. So far, I have no complain..Thanks to Abt Company for the good price offerred.

Regarding comment by Nicky from Maryland on 9/12/2008: "13 Hour Battery. after charge for 12 hrs, battery can handle for 4.5 hrs" - please note that this is based on "When brightness is set to lowest level and use of headphones." (note 7 in spec footnotes) It's dim, but your movie doesn't shut down in midflight!

13 Hour Battery. after charge for 12 hrs, battery can handle for 4.5hrs hcr-712 4500 mAh maybe the battery that i have not handle that much can be replace! best picture
