Cons:

Poor Sound |
The picture is great; however, the sound quality is quite poor. The sound has very, very low amplitude at max. level - - even though the speakers are rated at 15-Watts per chanel/speaker, and the speakers sound really tinny.

Occasional Popping sound |
Purchased this unit in December of 2007. The picture is incredible and the overall user experience has been excellent. Every once in a while (but very infrequently) I get a popping sound from the audio - in reading online is occurs when the unit gets hot. To be on the safe side I did purchase the extended warranty from Sharp - but for what you pay for a TV of this quality a little "insurance" gives me great peace of mind. Go for it - we've been very happy with our purchase.
