The only negative that I would have in regards to refrigerator water filters is that they are too expensive. I would gladly replace them on the recommended schedule if they were at least 25% less in cost.

The "replace filter" light came on on my refrigerator. I found the refrigerator on abt.com, and it told me which filter was needed. I purchased the filter, it arrived in a few days and the installation was easy. This was a painless process. I will do it again the next time the light comes on.
