Frigidaire Small Upright Freezer - FFU12F2H

Delivery people were right on time and extremely courteous.

This is an excellent smaller freezer with adequate space for families who need additional freezer space beyond their kitchen refrigerator. Its design is simple and clean. Its handle is recessed into the door. The interior shelves are roomy and there's quite a bit of storage space on the inside of the door. It comfortably holds about 40 lbs of frozen foods. Its only limitation is the noise generated when the freezer cycles, presumably the frost free feature. It's not a problem since it's in the basement but should you decide to use it in a kitchen or living area, it may be bothersome.

I had this freezer for a month and so far so good. I like the openess of the inside with it being very spacious for my needs. As for the loudness of the motor which others commented on...it is a bit noisy when running but my freezer is in the basement in the utility room where the furnace is and the noise is not bothersome at all and I don't think I'd have an issue even if it were in the open.

We are very happy with this product. It meets all our needs, has plenty of interior space. We can put in a large turkey and large pizza boxes. Yay! It is in our recreation room in the basement and runs quiet, we never hear it. Clean lines. The only negative is that the freezer does not have a bottom grill/kick plate which makes it look somewhat unfinished, like someone forgot to put one on.

This freezer is used for 'overflow'. It is a great size, quiet and efficient.

Purchased site unseen but well researched. Very pleased with price and product. Perfect for my wife who cans and we freeze fruits in season. Great size for our needs. Not loud like some of the reviews said. Highly recommend this unit.

Only had this freezer for a few weeks, but we love it so far! Great size for our family of 4, not too big, not too small. Makes a little noise when the compressor is running, but it's not that noticeable, especially since it's in our basement.

The upright is fabulous for keeping all the items organized. We keep it in a closet on the lower level. Because of the location the sound does not interfere with our daily activities.

The product works just as expected and is very appropriate for our needs. We keep in in the basement so any noise cannot be heard. It is a very nice product.

If you want smaller freezer than 13.7 CU, it's good. It fit to small kitchen or storage room.

This freezer is the right size for everything your refrigerator's freezer can't hold. It was a bit taller than I would like, but holds a lot more than I expected. It runs quietly, but I have it in our attached garage. There is quality in workmanship throughout, something I have been noticing is lacking in many new products. As for energy efficiency and requirements, be sure to read the manufacturer's manual which is available in pdf format. NO HEATING ELEMENT is needed for placement in basements or garages. Only one thing extra is needed: a temperature guage. The unit has a dial, but doesn't tell you the temperature.

This is a great size freezer. I use it in the garage for extra freezing storage and there is plenty of room to be able to stock up on frozen items.

Nice addition when extra freezer space is required over and above the standard refrigerator-freezer. Not too bulky so that its obtrusive, but big enough for the extra storage needed for a small family.

I bought this freezer because most of the reviews said it was quiet. I have this freezer in my basement and it has only been 1 week and I hate it. I can hear it throughout my house. It is quiet when it is not "running", but when it is, I can hear it upstairs in my kitchen and family room. I want to exchange it already!

too noisy freezer.

We've had the freezer for about a month and so far, we like it a great deal. It's far from full, yet the size fits perfectly at the base of the basement stairs. after a frenzied weekend of cooking, the freezer still has a ton of room in it. For the most part, it's quiet although there is a weird pitched noise when the door is closed. But it only lasts a few minutes, then quiet again. Would definitely recommend this one.

We use this as a 2nd freezer. It is perfect for this use. Neat, simple design. Quiet and energy efficient.

I haven't had it that long but so far I haven't had any issues. I have nothing but good to say so far. Ask me again in a year, hopefully I'll still be having a good experience...

I like it. Freezes very well at about half the coldest setting. I have it at deep freeze, about 20 degrees. I only wish it had adjustable feet in the rear as it does in the front.

Use for additional freezer space in garage. The 12 cubic ft. model is perfect size. Runs quiter than expected. Added a freezer alarm which should be part of the unit and would prefer a key lock.

We have a small kitchen and small standard refrigerator/freezer, so this extra freezer is going in the attached garage. The shallower depth and well-designed pocket handle allow this freezer to be placed just about anywhere. The shelf height and door space are great. A well-designed product.

Its location in my home is unusual..closet in home office. Now I can freeze casseroles, desserts, freshly squeezed grapefruit juice when out of season, martini glasses, bike water bottles, meats in bulk. The depth of 26 1/2" is ideal! Recessed handle on door is sleek!
