Good but has some problems

This item is great because it fits into such a small space. There are definetly some down sides though. I still have to go to the laundry-mat for my larger items like blankets. Even average size blankets do not fit, forget about large blankets. I've noticed that my washing machine gets thrown off balance very easily when I wash my husbands work clothes. It works perfectly fine with delicates but for some reason heavier clothes throw it off balance almost every time, even when I only do maybe one or two pairs of his work pants at a time. FYI (to possible purchasers) the lint trap is located inside the dryer, easy to get to . I was worried about that before I bought it because I could not find any information about where the lint trap was located and my closet space is so small.

I live in a condo, and this washer/dryer combination fits easily in the closet designed thirty years ago for a small washer/dryer combo.

The LTE5243DQ is a great value for the money. With the small space we have in the condo it does more than anticipated. The dryer is quiet and the washer is larger than we expected for a 24" machine. Would definitely recommend for a small spaced condo/apt.

I really like this washer/dryer stackable combo because it fits in the space I needed it to fit in. It is reliable, always getting the clothing/linens clean. I can wash a good size load, even though it is a stackable. My king size comforter doesn't fit in it, but the sheets and pillow cases do. I like being able to do my laundry in my apartment at my own convenience.

Does What It Should

BOTTOM LINE No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This was not my first choice for a washer/dryer combination, but rather I was very limited in my choices due to closet space. Basically, I had to have a stacked, 24" electric washer/dryer unit, and this was one of the few that fit the bill in my price range. If you are in a similar situation, I would recommend buying this; however if you can buy two separate units and stack them, or a 27"+, or even the gas version of this unit, I would recommend doing that instead. Pros: The unit is very easy to use. Choose a cycle, temperature and water level for the washer; choose a cycle for the dryer. Washer cycles are done quickly. Fits in compact space. Cons: Very limited choices as far as cleaning/drying options. Top of unit poorly designed; one large piece of sheet metal attached by four screws in the corners, tends to vibrate during dry cycle. Dry cycle takes excessive amount of time, does not dry well. Lint screen inconveniently located, hard to clean. Energy hog.

Cons:	Energy Hog, Leaves Clothes Damp, Hard to Clean Lint Filter
