A small laundry space is no problem for the Whirlpool-LTE5243DQ. At a mere 24 inches wide, the stack washer and dryer-3 electric dryer unit will fit into even a closet-sized space. The dryer stacks on top of the washer, and the combination is only 71¾ inches high.
The Whirlpool-LTE5243DQ packs a lot of cleaning power and large capacity into that small footprint. The Surgilator® Agitator continuously rolls the clothes over, so all items get clean. The Gentle Wash System uses step-down agitation speeds, which means the agitation is faster at the beginning of the wash cycle for deep cleaning, then progressively slower and more gentle toward the end. The strong ½ HP motor supplies ample energy for the five wash cycles.
Customers find the Whirlpool very easy to use. Even so, the family laundry person has a lot of options for getting clothes just right, such as three water level selections, five wash/spin speed combinations and four wash/rinse temperature combinations.
When it comes time to dry the clothes, transferring the washed items into the Whirlpool stacked dryer is easy because the LTE5243DQ dryer door swings to the side, out of the way. Users have options with the dryer's five cycles and four temperature selections. Or, they can use the automatic Dry-Miser® control, and choose from "less dry" to "very dry." The dryer will automatically shut off when clothes have reached the selected dryness. After, it is nice to know that the LTE5243DQ has an easy-to-clean lint filter.
