I have had this phone for about 3 months now. First of all, its touch screen is great. Its sensitive enough, but not too sensitive. I like how the lock button is not like sticking out, because if I put it in my pocket it won't unlock and call people or whatever. The Text messaging is alright. Sometimes when I go to reply it gets off of T9 Abc and goes back to abc and I have to switch it back. I don't like how you have to press a button to get to the QWERTY keyboard. The settings are okay, but you cannot personalize it. Theres only one shortcut menu, but that covers up your background, and you cannot personalize what goes on it. The scrolling is the wrong way! I always get confused with my iPod touch and my VU! I hate how I can't veiw some pictures that are from my memory card, I can't listen to the music I downloaded, because its "Unacceptable Content". Sometimes it won't set ringtones because "the file is too large" I used to have a Samsung a737 and it could do lots of things this phone cannot. Which dissapoints me, other LG phones can do things this one cannot. And I like LG. I won't get another phone unless it is an LG. Sometimes my screen fades to white. Sometimes to black. Sometimes the phone freezes up. I don't think this phone is user friendly if you are always always using it. And thats not something I like in a phone, because I text alot. Fix a few things in this phone, throw some new features in it, and it would be great.

Do not purchase unless you want problem after problem. I've had nothing but trouble with mine. Battery problems, touch screen problems, speaker, camera, 3G, text messaging (not sending/receiving in 3G), calling (unable to call/receive calls in 3G), SIM card... You name it, this phones got it. In problems.

I bought this phone used. I really like everthing about the phone. Quslity calls. good volumne everything is good but the battery. I can have a full charge use the phone for 30 mins and it has dropped 2 bars. Thats just talking. If I let it lay for a day and use it the next day for a few minutes it looses all bars. It definitly does not have a 10 day stand by or a 3 hour talk time. LG needs to figure it out but I guess thats why they don't sell the phone anymore.

When I first got this phone it was wonderful and has been my first touch screen phone. Shortly after, maybe five months down the line the battery life was deteriorating drastically and I could not make a two minute phone call without the phone dying and shutting off. I replaced the battery and here I am three months later and the same problem but now added to it, the touch screen is not working either. It has been a real hassle and I would not buy another one.

                    Do Not Buy This Phone

                    By AndyS

                    from Fort Smith, AR

Comments about AT&T LG Black CU920 Touch Screen 3G TV Phone:

The LG Vu was one of the first touchscreen phones I owned and was excited about the prospect of a virtual keyboard. Unfortunately, after owning the Vu for a couple weeks, I have few if any good things to say about it. First, the touchscreen was very inaccurate, even after calibrating it. In call volume was poor. The processor was slow and it took too long to access any application, whether it was messaging, browsing the internet, or even the camera. At 2.0 megapixels, the camera took decent photos but again, the shaky touchscreen made it difficult to operate. My biggest complaint about this phone concerns the use of an external memory card. At the time, I had a 4GB sd card that I wanted to use in the Vu. Every time I tried to access the photos or videos located on the card, it took a very long time for the phone to read the card. One time I actually timed it and it took 27 minutes for the phone to load the data on the memory card. 27 minutes! The Vu was a noble attempt at a touchscreen phone with many popular features. In practice, however, it fell short in many categories and I was very disappointed. I sold the phone 2 weeks after I bought it and was relieved to do so. I cannot in good conscience recommend this phone to anyone.

I purchased this phone for the Value and all the features that it had. I wanted a touch phone but didnt want to pay the competitor's pricing. I originally charged the phone using my data cable and by the end of one day it shut down. I then charged it with the ac adapter charger and it has stayed good for over two days before losing a mark. The other comments I had read was the battery was the main problems with this phone. So far so good. I liked mine so well I had to buy my significant other one just like it.

I've had this phone almost a year and there are good things and bad things. Good: the features and quality of the phone are excellent, the phone is extremely durable and the video and picture quality taken by the phone are great. Bad: The battery life is horrible and it gets worse over time. It has preset message alert tones, so you can not assign your ringtones as alert tones. When I first got the phone, within a couple weeks, I had some issues that were resolved by the warranty and I was given a "refurbished" phone in the place of mine. They said it couldnt be fixed. The refurbished one has worked fine... I like LG and will probably continue to get their phones when I upgrade. I also have an LG Refrigerator and an LG TV...

at first this was a great phone. i was tickled to death. i actually found it to be better than that iPhone 2 that i had before! the features the design, and it wasnt complicated to use. but this is one of the worst phones ive had performance wise. the battery dies real quick, and ive had a problem with it randomly shutting off. so it then became a pain to use. im with best buys plan which means i have to break four phones before i can get a different one. not just this one that i have has the problem, it the three other phones that i had to use before that had the EXACT same problem. im a pretty good handler with technology so i didnt treat it bad. its just not exactly the best phone LG has to offer
