chopper bowl is great for small batches of salsa or any sauce. the whisk makes short work of emulsions and whipping cream.

I have loved mine for years and got this one for a friend. After her first use she called so excited about how strong and quick it was compared to her old one and how easily it cleaned up. I just used it in pot with 7 gallons of split pea soup and it did a fantastic job. I've also used it for a single can of beans for hummus. A quality tool that holds up really well, I've had mine for many years.

My wife has used this for soups on multiple occasions and for tomatoes grown in our garden. This is a great product. We really haven't used it for much else as we have purpose built products for blending, mixing, etc. We have owned a few other hand held immersion blenders and none were as heavy or held up as well as this one. Spend the extra money. We bought the basic with no accessories and haven't regreted.

Bought this for my son's birthday, since he was making a lot of mess with the blender when he made milkshakes; now he makes the milkshake in the glass he drinks it in. Perfect. No more messy blender (and blender cleanup). I have begun using it to cream my soups, and feel it works as well with vegetables as does the blender (with less noise, might I add). Detachable blade unit fits easily into dishwasher silverware holder. Have now owned it for about 7 months.

I've made three different soups in the past week. I love how easy it is to blend soup right in the pot. It is much easier than pouring into your blender. The clean up is fast, just make sure your pot is deep enough so the soup doesn't splatter.
