I drive a 2007 Porsche 977 Turbo as a daily driver - rain or shine. I drive on highways, toll roads, and county roads in urban and suburban areas. Having owned Escort products since they were first available in the late '70's I can truly say that this detector is worth the money. It has a perfect record of shifting laser atacks. K-band detection is speed-sensitive if you want it to be. The readout is clear and controls easy to operate once you learn them. Perhaps one of the best features is the learning function which memorizes false alarms after 3 passes. If a new radar signal is encountered that doesn't match the memorized alarms, it will re-alert you. Photo radar updates are also a great feature.
