BeoSound 1 offers CD and radio integrated into a powerful, movable loudspeaker with a sound performance that will simply astound you. All its features and functions are operated simply and effectively via a row of buttons placed behind the curved wall at the top. The complete sound performance is made possible by a unique speaker construction that also includes an integrated central woofer, capable of handling sound frequencies of less than 250 Hz. As a result, BeoSound 1 produces a full spectrum of sound from the highest notes to the deepest bass.
The CD holder and FM antenna rise up instantly at the press of a button. To increase the radio signal further, the surface of the aluminum faceplate serves as an additional antenna. There’s a built-in timer, which makes BeoSound 1 an exclusive and effective alarm clock. You can also connect an external music player, such as an iPod, directly to BeoSound 1.
BeoSound 1 can also be operated by a Beo4 remote control. It is available in a choice of removable colored anodized aluminum covers for when you change rooms, or in case you change your mind.

To receive the best reception, BeoSound 1 has a motorised ’active’ FM aerial. At the same time, it employs the entire surface of the aluminium front as part of the aerial, so you don’t have to live with a long, impractical antenna. Placement:
BeoSound 1 is designed to be picked up by its integrated handle and enjoyed anywhere without suffering from the poor sound quality typical of a portable system. Free-standing is therefore the most obvious way of placing and replacing the product. However, you can also choose to hang BeoSound 1 on the wall or let it rest on a dedicated aluminium floor stand.
