That’s why places with pavement, snow or water demand polarized lenses, but most of the industry makes them with techniques that create haze and optical distortion. We utilize a liquid infusion process that bonds at the molecular level to achieve the clearest, sharpest polarized lenses possible. They block glare with better than 99% efficiency, and they come standard with ICE PICK™.

The lenses are enhanced with Oakley HYDROPHOBIC™, a permanent smudge-resistant coating that repels skin oils, lotions and dust with a slippery surface that prevents water sheens from getting a foothold. The back side is treated with a permanent anti-reflective coating, and lens options include IRIDIUM® coatings to balance and tune light transmission. HIGH DEFINITION OPTICS® (HDO®) maximizes clarity while letting us contour the lenses for a greater range of peripheral view. The optical performance of HDO® is so precise, ICE PICK™ beats all ANSI Z87.1 standards for clarity. It also meets ANSI standards for impact resistance, thanks to a lens material called PLUTONITE® that offers the added benefit of 100% UV filtering.

ICE PICK™ comes with a protective Oakley Torpedo case and a premium microfiber lens cloth.
