I have had a Hoover Windtunnel Canister vacum (model S3630) that I have used almost daily since purchase in March 2000. It is a work horse that requires minimal maintenance. During the last 13 years the only maintenance it required was the replacement of the Power Nozzle Belt, which thanks to the manufacturer's instructions in the manual, I did myself, at a cost of $2.95. It has lots of power and the power nozzle cleans my carpets really well. I like it so much I bought a second unit for upstarirs. This, after inspecting Dyson, Kenmore, Panasonic, Miele, Oreck and others. I highly recommend this vacum cleaner.

had imagined, but still easy to maneuver.

Bought my first Hoover Wind Tunnel in March 2000. And I am still using it daily. No breakdowns.

During last thirteen years of vigorous use, I had to replace a power nozzle belt once. Which, following the manufacturer's instructions, I replaced it myself -easily and quickly, for just $2.95!

It is a workhorse, strong, powerful, reliable, and affordable. A no-nonsense vacum.

After 13 years needed a second vacum. Compared all models recommended by Consumer Reports and bought a second Hoover Wind Tunnel (Anniversary Edition).

Will report new results in another ten years.

I love this vacuum. Recently purchased a second one to keep upstairs in my home. My only complaint is that all the tools are not stored onboard as they were on the older model.

I have a German Shepard so I use this 2-3 times a week. I bought it based upon a consumer magazine recomendation. I wis it had onboard tool storage and a longer power cord like my old one did. All in all it does a fine job.

I found this vacuum on Consumer Report Best Buy list on line and decided to give it a try! Best vacuum I have ever owned. I have 2 labs and this picks up the dog hair great! Love how it does on the carpeted stairs. If you are thinking of getting a canister this is the one for you!

My main concern with a new vacuum is suction power, and secondarily, pet hair removal (we have a VERY fluffy cat). This vacuum handles both needs for our hardwood floors very nicely. The seems to be an extremely well made and sturdy vacuum. It works very well with incredible suction. The power bar also very strong. I just wish being a Hoover that it was made in the U.S.
