I can't find anything wrong with this toaster. When I ordered it,my wife saide that it was too expensive. Now that we have used it she doesn't say anything about the price. I just love the uniform color of the toast. Also, I can count on the darkness setting to be the same every time. The quality is worth the price.

After reading toaster reviews from many sources and consulting Consumer Reports recommendations, I was far from confident making this purchase. But it is just a toaster after all, and one usually gets what he pays for. So I ordered one for myself, half expecting the uneven toasting that so many have complained about with almost all the products out there. So far, it works perfectly on every function that I've tried: buns, breads, bagels (frozen and fresh). For what it's worth, I later ordered one for my girlfriend's kitchen. It also works perfectly. Gotta give it a 5-star rating. However, if one of them breaks down in the next few months I'll be back with a revised review.

Toasts evenly on both sides but MOST importantly and SUPRISINGLY the toast tastes better. How can this be? Seems to be light n crispy on the outside yet flavorful on the inside. Looks great in my kitchen too. I did not want to fork out $[$] for a toaster so I used some AMEX points at 40% off to justify my purchase. Can't say I use the peek-a-boo feature....I just like the toast. Hopefully it will last for many years.

This is a pretty expensive toaster, but it really is a pleasure to use. I do not regret paying the extra money due to the quality of the toaster and unique features it has. The lift and look feature is actually very useful.

I did not have any problems with uneven toasting.

Who would spend $100 on a toaster? Someone who enjoys bagels and wheat toast but wants the product to function perfectly in a stainless steel setting. The precision of the digital controls is a great appeal. Couple that with the wide opening and the even heating makes this the perfect appliance. Bread is easy. Toasting bagels or English muffins....that is the test. This toaster slams both of these perfectly.
