It is portable and handy. The first ordered piece stopped working after a week of use. Contacted back and sent mack to replacement. They quickly replaced it with another new one. It is working perfectly. However, it cannot work in a big amount. Just a little amount to crush in. Overall, it is portable and convenient.

I use this for my dried garlic.It grinds very good.Have to use a little at a time so it dose not get clog.It was very guick on grinding.

Product was used exactly as directed to create nut butter. The machine was toast in less than ten minutes and the residue was what could only be described as extremely dense nut butter. Under no circumstances should you order this appliance. I seriously doubt that it would grind up herbs appropriately either.

I would have returned this inferior product immediately except for the cost of returning it from Hawaii.

I primarily grind peppercorns once or twice a week, and nuts for cookie batter. It's very simple and easy to use and to clean. It is quiet to operate. The size and appearance make it suitable to store in the cabinet, or leave on the counter.

This product lives up to what I expect from Cuisinart, and I recommend it.

This is one of the best grinders I have found. This is the third one I have purchased. It is extremely quiet (some have just about woke the whole house up when I used it in the morning to grind flax seeds). It is also much easier to clean because the bowl comes off. Most of them you have to wipe out and there is always some residue. The only con is that it takes a little longer that other units but not much longer.

This was a gift for my husband, a true cooking enthusiast. He loved the power and speed grinding spices for a rub. The tops is great to store larger quantities of the rub.

I absolutely love this product. It works really well to grind a fine uniform mixture from whole peppercorns, sea salt, nuts, ect. When I am cooking, I always struggles with using the hand pepper mills for my fresh ground pepper or sea salt, but thanks to cuisinart, I never have to waist all that elbow grease again! It is small, convenient, and easy to create your favorite dishes with all that great fresh ground salt, pepper, ect.

I cannot imagine cooking without this Cuisinart Nut and Spice Grinder. I always use freshly ground spices and nuts when I cook, and find this grinder to be the best I have ever used - and I have tried many different brands!
