I bought this soley to protect my laptop from other small items while inside my laptop bag. It offers great protection for this purpose; however, I would not recommend this product for transporting by itself. It does not have enough padding to protect a laptop from an accidental drop or some other cause of shock.

This is perfect when on the go. Simply slip the laptop in the sleve and into a bag without the worry of getting scratches on the laptop from zippers etc.. The power supply case is the best. No need to tangle it all over the place in your bag. Simply shove it in the simple case to keep it together.

You have got to be kidding. I bought the VAIO carrying case expecting something to protect my machine. This carrying case is maybe suitable for lipstick or a child's coloring book? I intend to return it for money back. The shipping one way has got to be 5x the worth of this item. A laptop computer would not survive one small bump in this thing. I am very disappointed.
