I love this little beauty! I have a medium size galley kitchen in NYC and just renovated it after 25 years. I decided to down size from a 24 inch DW to give me extra base cabinet storage space. I was terrified to commit to a new, smaller DW. But I did and am so happy with this little dirt buster. It looks beautiful inside and out. It has much more space than I thought it would and great features like the double shelf capability on the top right side rack. All the review research I did before buying made me nervous-no one seemed to love their 18 inchers and cited issues with all. I disagree. This is a great machine and cleans as well as my big one did. The only minor criticism I have is that the shortest cycle-called air dry--is still 50 minutes long. But c'est la vie. This is also a very quiet machine and I would take it over the more $$ Euro models as my contractor and friends who have or know those brands report a lot of repair issues. Don't be afraid to downsize to this machine. Now I have all pull our drawers in my kitch base cabinets and lots of room. A 6 inch reduction in DW space means a lot in a small kitchen. Thank you GE!

This dishwasher was still in the box when we bought our home, purchased by the seller to replace the one that had broken. After it was installed, we found the factory seal at the bottom of the dishwasher was in fact not sealed properly. We could not return the dishwasher because it was purchased mid November and we didn't close on the home until after the 30 day return policy had expired, the middle of December. The technician came out, order parts, came back a corrected the problem. 2 weeks later we found that the soap dispenser door was not opening until the dishwasher door was unlocked, running the soap down the door. After speaking with tech support, they ordered the part needed to correct this problem and another appointment scheduled. That technician said there is nothing we can do about the problem. It is a design flaw. If using the pods, just throw them at the bottom of the dishwasher and it'll be fine. We have bottled gel detergent and pods. Pods are expensive. The bottled gel is not. The tech said there was nothing they could do. I am now stuck with a brand new dishwasher that I have been told cannot be repaired and they won't replace. And I suppose when the pods run out I'll have to wash dishes by hand because the detergent door, per the technician, can't be repaired. GE appliances are the worst.

Not working at all
By Monty grinager

I bought this dishwasher 1 month before I moved into my house. So when I hooked it up to use it the water inlet was bad. Took a week to get fixed and now it still doesn't work. Had a tech come out again and he said it was good now but the dishwasher still doesn't work and I wasted my money. I don't have a dishwasher and i need one. I guess I will just have to buy a different one.

Dishwasher came with model home
from Florida, United States
This dishwasher came with the model home I bought. It was inspected according to the sticker. But turns out it had missing parts that took almost 2 months to repair. Prefer to have push button features rather than dial

The features aren't very impressive, but if you want better features spend more on a nicer unit. This is a cheaper model, but definitely does what it's supposed to do. The dishes are clean and we don't have to pre-wash much.

As good as I expected

The dishwasher was pretty easy to install and is running great. It cleans as well as I expected since we bought the cheapest dishwasher available. It doesn't get all of the stuck on stuff but it still makes doing dishes so much easier non the less!
Great value for the money

Have had this about a month now. Dish area is somewhat smaller than others we looked at, but it does q good job cleaning and was a great value for the price.

This dishwasher works very well. It holds a lot of dishes, glasses, and pots & pans. They come out sparkling clean.
