Item has good looks, would be great in under counter application. However, does not get very cold. Good for wine storage, not so good if you want your soda and water VERY cold. It cools adequately.

Rating as an energy star appliance would have earned it a 5-star rating. Otherwise, we are extremely happy with this appliance.

The shelves are very light and don't stay in well. I'm afraid to slide the shelves out.The frig on all other points is fantastic. It keeps beverages cold, is extremely quiet and looks fantastic. The door is solid and it is made very well. I highly recommend it.

Bought this as a third fridge for beverages, mostly beer, have one for wine already. This one works good, the only gripes I have are that you need to turn the light on manually and it's a bit on the noisy side.

Not cold enough.

The temperature setting shows that it will chill to 38 deg., but it has not gone below 41 deg. That's not cold enough for beef and white wine.

Compressor is more than adequate

The compressor on this unit is strong. It can freeze contents when the temperature is set at the lowest possible setting. The actual temperature in the middle of the unit was about 4 to 5 degrees centigrade colder than indicated by the cooler's digital display, based on measurements I made with a laboratory research-grade thermometer, so check the temperature to figure out how to set the unit. Since there's a fan, I guess the thermostat is not calibrated correctly. In any case, you can figure this out. Most importantly, the compressor is more than adequate.
