Very good player. Connecting to Wifi drains the battery within 2 hours, but while just listening to music and not trying to connect to Wifi while on the road, the player will last for hours. Great screen, very compact. Very good player.

The Performance Rivals the Sleek Look

When updating firmware, the iTune interface does not indicate whether the USB plugs in your computer are compatible with the downloaded software. If they are not, then the update freezes the iPod and, if you can restore it to the previous firmware, you lose all the applications previously purchased.

Better than my old video

Overall very nice. Could use 32gb, but not paying [$] for it. Primary uses - connect in car, in arm band at gym and at work. The touch is a little longer than my 30BG video so it's a little akward to get used to at the gym. Sound is much better and much louder. Akward to get used to touch screen - especially if on a treadmill, but after a day or two it was fine. Great buy, just wish it had more memory for the price - I got the 16gb.

This IPod is the best yet (Not including the Iphone. It has nearly all the functionality of the iphone except the camera and microphone functions. I love the ability to connect to wifi networks and I love the fact that when you buy something on the ipod touch it will automatically back it up to your account when you connect it to your computer. Great product. A word of warning: Graphic intensive programs will suck the battery fast. For example, the game fieldrunners can be played for about 3 hours and the battery will be nearly gone.
