- For optimal washing and rinsing performance, LG’s Wash/Rinse Optimizer™ uses a special sensor to determine the amount of detergent and water hardness, making automatic adjustments to the wash/rinse processes. When there is too much detergent, additional rinse cycles are added to virtually eliminate soap residue making fabrics more comfortable on sensitive skin as well as ensuring a “like new” appearance on dark clothes. When too little detergent is used, this feature extends the wash cycle to ensure adequate cleaning performance.
