The intense summer sun rays, not to mention the winter snows, in Colorado make protection for fine Weber grills essential. Weber grills are so good that they are worth the extra price--and worth protecting from the elements. Good fit is really important to cover the whole grill, and this cover was made for our Genesis grill. Haven't had it long enough to test durability, but it is obviously made of quality materials. The only thing that concerns me is that the black color (only color available) will absorb a lot of heat. But hey! Grills are for heat! So this should not be a problem.

The grill cover appears to be made as a generic type cover for various models. Original cover was heavy duty and better quality. I'm surprised that Weber would put out a product as such for a higher end grill.
