This is a very nice TV for the price. You want to use it with a home theater system because the speakers are not good, but that's what you should be doing anyway. The 1080 picture is good, but fast action shots can pixelate due to the fact that this TV is only 60 Mhz, rather than 120. You don't see it to often, and things like baseball and golf look amazing. I am interested to see how the speed hold up during a football game, but movies and other stuff are generally looking very good on this. Ordering from ABT was easy[...]

One of Toshiba's BEST lower end units.1080p for under $1k. Blu-Ray&PS3 LOOKS GREAT! KZ2 on-line at 720p NO LAG NO BLUR. Even old 480i dvds,with component out,are very watchable.Haven't tried VGA yet,need a 20ft.D-sub cord.For now I'm going to replace my 10yr. old dvd player, with a new up-converter instead of going to full blu-ray.If I need Blu-Ray player there's always my sons game player. Viewing 480i or 480p is better than other sets on the market,but 720 thru 1080p rival top $$$ lcds. If you connect this unit to your home stereo - You now have a mini Theater System... Hi, As a toshiba power customer for 18 years, have never been disappointed in quality or durability. Have active kids / dogs that can be tough on gear, and thir product always satisfies. Cinema sound dazzles the avg room and the picture electrifies. I run technology for a major Insurance company, and my latest 40" 1080p was a house warming gift for my sister-in-law. She has now written me into her will.

Great picture, sleek looks, good t.v. for the money. Remote is very picky. Sound is Fair, not good, but not bad either.
