Whirlpool Washer quiet? - Not so much!

We bought the Whirlpool Washer Model WTW57ESVW because we were tired our very noisy 9 year old Maytag. It had a high pitch whine that we could not eliminate no matter what wash cycle we set. Our laundry room is just off the kitchen so we can't get away from washing machine noises. From day one our new Whirlpool washer clanked and groaned as it went thru its washing cycles. [...]Bottom line: If you're looking for a quiet washer, you might not want one of these.

I use these products on a daily basis. Seems quicker than my other washers. Washes well, spins well and is easy to load. Best feature, fabric softener cup which you fill at the beginning and forget about running downstairs during the cycle. Have noticed it spins so well that sometimes clothes wrinkle. Just have to find the best setting.

Noisy, water waster

Bought this machine because it was "energy saving" meaning water usage. Put in two clothing items (t-shirt and shorts) and 'auto sensing' water feature filled the drum to the very top! For two pieces?? Come on! This machine will waste more water in a single load than I'd overuse in a month if water level was adjustable by the consumer! Also, very, very noisy -can hear machine running through wash, rinse, and spin cycles a floor away.

We put it to the test right away and were pleasantly surprised as to how fast the cycle was and how clean our clothes came out. It's also much quieter than our old washing machine. The drum also will hold a king size comforter and clean it well.
