The IVA-W203/P1 All-in-one
Navigation/Audio/Video System includes the IVA-W203 2-DIN head unit and the
NVE-P1 removable navigation drive. The IVA-W203 is a versatile touch screen
head unit that gives you control of your entire system right from a convenient
6.5" screen. Load the NVE-P1, removable navigation drive, and stay on route

Percentage Search
For especially big music libraries, Alpine's exclusive Percentage Search function
uses the preset buttons for quick jumps to specific parts of the list. Conveniently
jump from one song to the next with little effort.
DVD/CD Playback
The IVA-W203's 6.5" screen serves as your control panel and as your entertainment
display for high-quality DVD and CD playback so you can view and enjoy all your
favorite movies and music.2
Let the iPod Play.
Alpine's Full Speed Connection for iPod lets you enjoy all your favorite iPod
tracks on the road. View playlist, artist, album, and song search right on the
screen of your head unit. There's no need for bulky interface boxes, just one
simple cable (KCE-422i) that connects your iPod directly to your IVA-W203. Forget
FM transmitters and forget static, hollow sound. Full Speed Connection also
supports Apple lossless playback. With Alpine, you can take your iPod on the
road and listen to quality sound.
SIRIUS/XM Radio
With SIRIUS/XM, Alpine brings you satellite radio inside your car. Enjoy a wider
array of programming in sports, music, talk, family, commercial-free!
CD-quality Sound for
AM & FM
Alpine does HD. Get all the music and programming you want to hear in crystal-clear
digital format. FM stations with CD-quality sound, AM stations with FM-quality
sound, and virtually no distortion. With multi-casting capability HD1, HD2,
and HD3, you'll hear more talk and music content from the stations you already
receive.
Steering Wheel Control
Replace the factory-installed head unit without loss of this convenient option.
Steering Remote Ready. Select Alpine head units which are steering wheel remote
control ready allow you the option to control your head unit right from your
factory installed steering wheel controls using a third party adapter.

NAVIGATION:
Easy-to-Use Menus
Complicated routes are no problem thanks to clearly labeled menu options that
are as easy to follow as the timely voice prompts. Set destinations, select
types of routes and add waypoints for multiple-stop trips by simply choosing
items from the menu.
Map It!
The map window provides all the information you need, such as the distance to
your next maneuver, estimated time of arrival, text indicating the current street
or freeway as well as the name of the next… And of course, a bright color-coded
map showing your vehicle's position.
Updatable, Removable
Drive
The NVE-P1's removable drive design allows you to easily update to new mapping
and latest points of interest information using your home computer. No AC adapter
is required during update. Just simply connect a USB cable.
Pick a Place, Any Place!
There are many ways to set your destination. Besides entering an address, you
can select a point off the map screen, find a POI (Point of Interest) such as
a restaurant, gas station or tourist spot from the NAVTEQ data, enter a set
of coordinates or street intersections, or choose from your address book and
destination history. Getting to your destination is easy!
Switch it Up!
Multiple map modes are available for your preference.
- Map Mode: Displays
a full-screen map of your area.
- Arrow Mode: Displays
three-successive arrow maneuvers all the way to your destination.
- Split Arrow/Map Mode:
Displays a large arrow and larger next-screen-name font along side a map
screen
Lead the way!
With turn-by-turn voice guidance, you can get to your destination with ease.
Helpful prompts alert you to the next move ahead. You also have the option to
turn voice guidance on/off.
BLUETOOTH:
Pair Up!
Alpine offers the convenience of carrying phone conversations through your Alpine
system. Keep your hands on the wheel and still stay in touch. As long as your
cell phone is Bluetooth compatible,1 simply pair up your cell phone with your
Alpine system and you’re set. You’ll get a wireless connection, convenient
hands-free operation, plus caller ID, phone book access, streaming audio and
on-screen call info. No worries, navigation is still operable while you’ve
got someone on the line.
Placing Calls
It’s simple to make outgoing calls. Once your cell phone is synced up with
your Alpine, you can view your phonebook right from your in-dash screen. Select
your desired contact from the list and simply press "Dial" to call.
You also have the option of inputting the telephone number using the 12-key
dial pad on-screen.

Received Calls, Missed Calls and Dialed Calls varies from phone to phone and
by your service provider. Please visit your local Authorized Alpine Retailer
to verify compatibility of your phone.
Receiving Calls
When your phone is actively paired with your IVA-W203/P1, a pop-up window will
appear when you have an incoming call. View caller ID info right from the display
so you know if your uncle Phil or your real estate agent is calling. Select
"Answer" to get the conversation started, or "Ignore" when
you’re not available. You can also display a call option menu to view Caller
ID information and Call Duration during an active call.
Call your Destination
For POI’s which display an active phone number, you can call up the place
before you get there!
Call History
View your call history on-screen. Now you can scroll through and check missed
calls, received calls, and dialed calls. It's easy as hitting "Dial"
to get in touch with previous contacts.
Updatable Compatibility
The NVE-P1's removable drive design is conveniently updatable. No adapters,
no hassle. It simply connects via USB cable. Future updates include compatibility
updates to enable Bluetooth capability via select new cell phone models.
