This is my first GPS since I live in Manhattan and do not own a car. Bought this just in time for our rental car trip to Atlantic City and Washington DC. This product worked straight out of the box. I appreciated the non-staining plastic sunction method on the windshield mount (since it wasn't my car!). Easy to mount, easy to remove. Great product - makes me wonder what other features one would want!

Easy to set up - I had it working in about 5 minutes - but I need to learn more about it. It doesn't seem to 'get' that I know alternate routes. it will continue to send you back to the chosen route for an abnormal amount of time before it re-adjusts...but then it's just fine.

I love my TomTom! It's easy to carry around with me, mounting is a breeze, and the menu options are simple and to the point. I enjoy it everytime I'm doing field visits for the employer (even if I've been there before) and how I can connect it to my computer to update the routes.

I originally wanted this item to help me find specific locations for work but have had a great time just locking in destinations and finding routes that are faster than the ones I usually take. My girlfriend and I spent an evening just playing around with the Tom Tom and driving to random places. Very accurate directions and great fun!
