I had an older version of this model for about ten years, nothing lasts forever. The new version is much lighter and rotating the iron is not as smooth, but it performed just fine. I hope this one lasts as long as the old one.

I WAS TOLD TO MAKE THE BATTER AND PUT IT IN THE REFRIGERATOR OVER NIGHT AND THE WAFFLES WOULD BE MUCH BETTER.Noone told me the batter had to be stirred every 15 Minutes, so, I had to clean my whole refrigerator before cooking my first batch of waffles!

It is somewhat difficult to store, perhaps if the handle came off or collapsed it would be easier to place in a cupboard. Handle would move only when completely cooled.
I would suggest that before EACH first time used, spray a LITTLE bit of pam or other product without flour to the surfaces. Makes it so much easier to use. One time only per daily use.
We love the product and have two of them so the kids don't have to argue about who is first to be fed.
What else can I say...WE LOVE IT!!!!

First let me say that I received product in record time. Received package in excellent condition.
Use mostly for morning breakfast. Easy to use, makes wonderful waffles and best of all wonderful clean-up. I would highly recommend this product.

We have used this in our home for a month now. The waffles come out perfect everytime. Set the dial and forget about it type of thing. It's non-stick but I still spray some non-stick spray on it because they can be somewhat a challenge to pull out without damaging the texture.
