Comments about Alpine HD Radio Tuner:

When I started using SuperTips last year, I couldn't help but notice just how uncomfortable they were. Isolation was great, and they made my SkullCandys sound incredible, but the foam was very stiff and would wind up hurting my ears. I got a new pack of the redesigned tips today, and it was love at first touch. The softer foam and improved contoured profile are a HUGE step up, and they bring out the sound of my Marleys that would be expected from a product two tiers above. Even better, they don't slip off my monitors anymore.
      Excellent work. Keep it up.

Comments about Alpine HD Radio Tuner:

These are the best sounding foam eartips that I have used. The sound is a TEN 10. I have gone from Comply tips to Monster Foam Supertips on my Brainwavz, Vsonic GR07, Hifiman RE262, and Hifiman RE272. In each earphone I am getting Audiophile sound from Bass, Mids and Treble. A 100% improvement on the Comply tips. Better clarity throughout the sound spectrum. The Comply tips changed the Bass(muffled sounding, poor definition), Treble improved in clarity and definition (very sparkly now). A note about the increased clarity of the Supertips over the Comply tips, on the same songs tested, same playback hardware and earphones, the Supertips were 2-4db louder than Comply tips. The Comply tips absorbed that much sound vs the Supertips.
I can recommed these to any Audiophile that wants to hear exactly what ther earphones can sound like!

What a joke! These are as uncomfotable a foam tip as I've ever tried! Very plastic feeling and not enough compression. Even regular earplugs are more comfortable! Plus, if you're in the know about foam tips, it's obvious Monster copied their compatibility list from their competitor's website...even using the same font! I doubt they've even tested another brand of earphone to see if these tips work and will stay on the sound port...[...]

Comments about Alpine HD Radio Tuner:

I first purchased the Monster sample pack of Supertips to see if they would provide a better seal than the flimsy tips that came with my Klipsch headphones. IMPORTANT NOTE: THE SUPERTIPS ARE COMPATIBLE WITH NEARLY EVERY BRAND EXCEPT KLIPSCH. I used the sample pack to find the best fit for my Sony headphones and found the exact fit needed. I also noticed dramatically improved bass response and overall sound isolation using the tips. Now that I know the correct size, I will use Supertips for all future in-ear headsets where they are compatible. For me personally, I found the foam provide a more secure fit than the gel.

Comments about Alpine HD Radio Tuner:

I have been an ear bud junkie for ages. I hate typical silicone tips because I can hear every movement of the wire, as well as amplified chewing and swallowing sounds. First, I discovered Shure olives. Totally got rid of the things that peeved me about silicone tips, but also muffled the music and weren't all that comfortable. So, I set out on a quest for something better. This is it. Truly the best of the silicone world regarding sound, and the best of the foam world regarding noise isolation and comfort. Totally worth it.

This receiver would not power on 8 out of 10 times. Once it did power on, it would not land on any valid station. Presets with HD tuner are set by autoscan mode. Could not override them. This thing is a real piece of junk.
