Comments about Whirlpool 36" Electric Cooktop:
After one week the product stopped working. Took three weeks to repair. Only worked one day before the main board went again. Now I have to wait another two weeks to get it repaired yet again.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Works very well, hard to find pots/pans that work for all burners

I like this cooktop; however, it is very hard to find pots/pans that work well with all burners. 60% of the pots/pans I have will only work with the smallest burners (bottom left/right) and are a lot bigger than those burners but too small to work with the other burners. The controls are very sensitive and placing items on top of the controls will cause problems. Takes a while to get used to.

We are overall pretty happy with our induction cooktop. We like the even heating and ability to control the temperature. Some issues with induction cookware working on front burners and not the back not sure if that is cooktop or cookware. Super easy to clean since nothing burns on cooking surface. Wish the finish wasnt so shiny. Shows every finger print. Controls in front is a nice feature but I have found its easy to lean over and turn them off by accident. Compared to the regular glass cooktop we replaced I would buy induction again.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
