There aren't a lot of options for smaller fridges (under 35 inches) with ice and water in the door, but I've been happy with this model. While it has limited door space, it has plenty of shelf space, and I haven't had any problems accessing any of the items. I love the deli drawer - it holds lots of things that otherwise would be on the shelves. I wasn't sure I'd like storing milk in the door, but I love it now. The ice maker is a bit loud, and you need a larger-mouth cup to catch the ice or water, or else it spills out, but once you realize that, it's not really a problem. The freezer drawers seem to hold a lot, but I have had to take things out of boxes to make sure it closes. The door alarm seems to only work for the fridge, not the freezer door, and I hadn't closed it completely and I had things get a little frosty. I've had the fridge for about one month now, and so far, I like it.

There aren't alot of options available in a bisque french door fridge with an ice maker and to have it fit the space we have so we were very limited and had to hope that this fridge would meet our needs. It certainly does that and more. We love the deli drawer, despite it being shallow, it holds everything we have leaving the rest of the fridge for the bigger items. We didn't need a new fridge but wanted an ice maker as my family are big water drinkers and I was tired of all the water bottles tipping over and taking up space. We no longer have that issue and I couldn't be happier.

We bought this after seeing great reviews for Maytag fridges. We wanted a french-door style with icemaker and bottom pullout freezer. It's been 9 months and my husband told me we'd get used to it. We haven't. The icemaker takes up half of the refrigerator portion and the layout is cramped and awkward for storing food. The freezer is slightly better, but for big families you'll never be able to close the doors as the freezer shelves to not allow you to place many items (we have to take our frozen waffles out of the box to store, for example). Perhaps it would be better if the icemaker was in the freezer portion, but honestly if you need room-- go for the side-by-side freezer/fridge OR get this fridge without the ice and water. Plus side-- very attractive. But not useful.

Delivery was delayed by 1 week from promised date. Was told delivery truck was in an accident.

Refigerator came without the defrost drain hose. Water on the floor daily. Called local Maytag service tech (not Abt) to come fix. Drain hose was backordered. Waited two weeks for repairs. Not very happy.

The icemaker keeps jamming and we had to call for service in the first month because it froze all the vegetables. How wasteful. When it makes ice, it is so loud when the ice drops into the ice bucket. The refrigerator makes noise all the time. It sounds like sleet on the windows. It is annoying.

Great ice maker, limited door storage on both doors. Ice maker takes up alot of room in the fridge, but wouldn't have one without it. Keeps things nice and cold, runs pretty quiet. I owned my last Maytag for 18 years and had no problem with it except to replace the ice maker once. [...]This is the second appliance that I have bought from ABT and I would definately recommend them and I would definately order from them again.
