I have been a fan of Sharp Carousels for many years. This microwave replaced a similar Sharp Carousel from the late '90s, which after over a decade of very heavy use was starting to have problems with its door mechanism. The new Sharp Carousel seems to work as well as the microwave it is replacing did when it was new. The controls and display are similar. The build quality on the new one feels a little cheaper - thinner metal and tray than the '90s version. We use the microwave for the majority of our meals, 2-3 times per day, so I hope this one lasts as long as the old one did.

Best bang for the buck again from Abt.
