Wife Loves It

Our old Sharp died and couldn't find any Sharps locally. Found this one searching the web and the wife loves it. The high power and large size are the best points. Controls are easy to use. Haven't found anything we don't like yet. Would recommend to anyone.

For standard and fancy cooking, its a great micro-wave machine. My only sorrow is the harsh metalic sound on closing.

Great Oven, Great Price, ABT Rocks!

My old Sharp Carousel 1.5 cu/ft 1100 Watt oven died after 6 years of daily use. I needed another and was not happy to read the terrible reviews for other brands. So found this one, and it is bigger, more powerful and just as easy to use. It heats more evenly than my old Sharp. Basically, this is a very good microwave, and the price cannot be beat.

I use it everyday to heat day old coffee, leftovers,cooks vegetables perfect, and meals for my Day Care Kids. Would like larger Print on Start and Stop/Clear. Once you know where there located, it's not a problem.

I had a Sharp Microwave Oven 1200w that lasted for 13 years. I purchased a similar microwave in hopes of a long life spand as we use it several times daily. Although, this new Sharp seems to be made with thinner material, it works like a charm. It is very simple to program and has great digital instructions that are very user friendly. [...]. Very powerful and roomy oven

Have used for 1 month. Overall very large for countertop oven, but can hold many dishes of leftovers at once. Still learning to reduce time as it is more powerful than previous ovens I've owned. Frozen food containers tend to overcook in the corners using the power called for in instructions. I don't use the fancy settings at all. So far, it has not caused my breaker to flip off like my previous oven. Recommend if you have the counter space for it.

Great value with the microwave

So far this microwave has proven to be above average and I'm so happy to have it. At 53, I need readers to see what to push on the settings but I'm sure once I memorize the locations that won't be a problem. And so far that that is the only downside, so if your eyes are in better condition, you'll love this product.

I have been a fan of Sharp Carousels for many years. This microwave replaced a similar Sharp Carousel from the late '90s, which after over a decade of very heavy use was starting to have problems with its door mechanism. The new Sharp Carousel seems to work as well as the microwave it is replacing did when it was new. The controls and display are similar. The build quality on the new one feels a little cheaper - thinner metal and tray than the '90s version. We use the microwave for the majority of our meals, 2-3 times per day, so I hope this one lasts as long as the old one did.
