Captured so many memories on our vacation. Picture and sound are great. You can do so many things with it when you download it on your computer. Nobody believes that the dvd was not professionally done. Extremely easy to use. You must have a laptop or pc for charging and downloading. Fits in your pocket.

I am not a pro...but this little device makes nice little movies or what I have used it for, short videos of musicians performing. The sound is surprizingly good! It is a quick way to get an idea of how your band sounds or looks! Often with funny results! The only drawback I find is having to plug it into my laptop to charge it. I looked on the Mino site and they do not offer a usb wall charger, but do offer extention usb female-male cords. This would help relieve stress on the usb plug.
I ordered this on a Monday expecting it for the weekend and it showed up on wednesday 2 days later!! I quickly opened the product, read the directions which were minimal and complete, plugged it in to get max charge after setting it up then left for the evening. I videoed a band playing 4 specific songs, went home and downloaded the 4 clips and e mailed them to the folks in the band! Later, I clicked "creat movie". I was a little disappointed there was no editing capability, but the program faded out a scene while the new one faded in. Couldn't have done it any better being a rank amateur! Only drawback and this may be my fault...it took the program over an hour to burn a 17 minute DVD. I subsequently used a copy disc function in another program and reproduced the DVD for my friends in much shorter time. Very easy to use and intuitive!

Flip software is easy to use but the editing features are very limited.
Im so far happy with the device and the result. Its really handy and easy to use. Zoom is limited to 2x -- that i think can be improved.

This is an extremely slick and easy to use camera. The video quality rivals the larger, complicated video cameras. The portability and clever USB connection feature, makes it a breeze to transfer, edit and send videos. This is a serious little camera that won't sit in a camera bag, unused. You will take it everywhere.

Extremely easy to use camcorder with minimal features and no electronic image stabilization. HD quality is great of course, and it's very easy to get the movies off the camcorder, either with included software or just by copying MP4 files off the embedded USB flash drive. Be prepared for huge size of the raw movie files.

This was a Xmas gift for the wife and she LOVES it! Very practical and east to use; takes great quality HD video, she's getting great use from it, too! She wishes the monitor was larger and the pop-out USB connector to her laptop "seems like it can break easily", but other than this, she has no major complaints and is very happy to have it!
