This is a neat trim kit, and installs fairly simply to the cabinet space, but the manual does not take into account a few things. It is true that the cabinet cutout must be at least 25.5" wide, but this is not centered, but shifted to the left by about an inch. Luckily you can manually cut the steam guide without impacting functionality, so that it fits behind your centered cutout.

Very disappointed. Trim kit (stainless steel) did not match microwave (stainless steel), and it rattled when the microwave was running.

Looks good and fits nicely but the clear-coat on the stainless panels is already showing blemishes (in less than 2 weeks). Looks like the "coating" on the side panels is lifting away from the metal and makes the panel look as it has grease spots on it. Will look to return and replace with a new one.

This is nice looking trim kit and works well with the KCMS1555SSS microwave. I wish it was a 'little' tighter fit around the microwave, but it's really close and I can't complain.

Enclosure: I put this and the micro in a wall cabinet with an opening of this size - Width: 24 1/4", height: 16 1/4", depth 27 1/4" and it fits like a glove. The way the unit installs, it goes flat on the bottom of the opening, so if your opening is taller than 16 1/4" you'll see a gap. You "could" install it in a 17 3/8" tall opening if you dropped down a 3/4" piece of plywood under it. the bottom of the trim kit would just barely cover up the plywood bottom.
