Comments about Peripheral Harness For GM LAN 11 Bit Vehicles:

Installed into a 2006 Pontiac G6 to add an AUX input. I had to remove the entire dash board to get to the stereo, but everything was relatively straightforward.

The PGHGM3 Harness snapped into the existing factory cables and the peripheral unit and was then good to go. I stripped one of the 3.5mm wires that came with the peripheral unit and soldered it to a panel jack, drilled a hole in the console, and installed for a clean finish.

The harness is perfect for recommended models, but a bit long, so you will have to figure out where to stuff the extra length to fit the stereo unit back into place.
