The fridge broke down in less than 48 hours and we lost $300 worth of food.[...] Frdigidare was not much help either but after weeks of fighting with them, they agreed to compesate us $150.00. Haven't seen the check yet.

We had two side by sides and during the holidays we needed room to hold full trays of food or cakes. Geat for drinks when you don't need a freezer, the bottom door tray comes off so it woun't hit anything on the lower shelf.

We had few choices, because of limited space in an old house, but are very happy with this unit. We use as refrigerator and appreciate the extra space afforded by absence of freezer compartment.

Some minor quibbles: It could use another door shelf, and should have a line painted across the lower shelf to indicate the unusable area covered by the lower door shelf. It is much noisier than one would expect a modern refrigerator to be.
