It seem that all flat panels TV's have poor speakers / small speakers.

This is our first flat panel tv, and it was definitely worth the wait. Picture is awesome both from Directv and Blu-Ray player. Sound is better than many reviews indicate, we have it in a large room and it is fine, although I do plan on setting up a surround system in the future to maximize the experience. I can't say I have a single complaint.

I waited and waited to finally bite the HD bullet and I am so happy I went with Samsung. The TV is gorgeous and the picture phenominal. I have HD w/DirecTV as well as the LG Blu Ray player which allows me to stream movies directly to the TV without actual DVDs - coolest ever! I have the TV on the BDI Avion8925ESP stand and the whole set up looks really nice. For those of you on the fence about this TV - buy it, you'll love it!

Very nice TV, excellent feature set. Image is not as crisp as smaller LCD's on broadcast HD, but for Blue Ray movies - it's the "bomb".

I'm putting together a home theater with this beast at the center of it all. I'd have preferred the newer LED backlight technology, but Samsung isn't yet offering a 52" version of that product, and the 55" is too big for my desired location, and it's also currently just too expensive. The picture is wonderful, and its clean lines convey the minimalist design that I so covet. My only negative so far is the rather weak documentation that comes with the TV. Samsung could take a queue from Sony on this one. Sony always offers a friendly "quick start guide" and supplements it with very usable documentation that was clearly written by someone whose first language is English :-) But don't let that stop you. If you're on the fence, don't hesitate - GET THIS TV!!!
