We did a complete kitchen remodel including appliances and the KitchenAid electric slide in range is the highlight of the group. We were a bit leery of the electric stove top elements, but we were delightfully surprised with not only how it looks but how quickly the elements heat and cool. It is very fluid for cooking and we both took to it like ducks to water. The oven has convection capability and that has taken some time to understand and use - but now I am baking my own bread. It is also gorgeous to look at - the glass surface has a "red-ish" tint and the surface has cleaned well with ordinary glass type cleaners. The controls are super easy to use and understand. The fact that they are on the front of the appliance would be some cause for concern, but there is a "child-safe" mode. We love it. Glad we made the decision to go with this appliance.

I am a good, what you would call a country cook, who needed a new cooking stove. After a lot of searching and looking, I decided the Kitchen Aid was my product. I love the cook top...no problem. The only disappointing thing about the new range is the abusive, shrill noise when the oven is on. Also the oven will turn back on automatically after being off about 30 minutes. We had a repairman out to look at stove and he assured us there was nothing wrong with the stove. "The awful noise is due to the way the fan is funneled to let the heat out of the oven. The stove fan, and shrill noise, turns back on to help get the heat buildup out of the oven." My habit now is to leave the oven door open about 10 or so minutes to let heat escape so as to not have the stove turn back on automatically. My guests have come in and said, "what is that awful noise?" What a disappointment that we spent a large sum of money on this product.

Love the slide-in design
Comments about KitchenAid 30" Stainless Electric Range:
I bought this range for my new home over three years ago and am pleased with the purchase. I appreciate the convection and smart convection features. The Smart Convection feature converts the standard oven times to convection temperature and time very easily. The warming drawer is very nice to have. The only issue that I have is that I have never heard the "Preheat Completion Tone". It is supposed to be a single chime, so I am not sure if I am just missing it. I would like the option of having a longer tone, or continuous tone so that I notice it.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

I bought this KitchenAid convection oven one month ago and I am extremely satisfied.I recommended it to my circle of friends for its value, price and quality.

I am an amateur baker, and everything has been going great with this oven. It is still fairly new so it smells a little like plastic when it is on, but I know that that's temporal but delicious cookies are forever.
Giving Thanks for Holidays with KitchenAid Range

I am still giving thanks for the quick delivery of my new Kitchenaid range just in time for me to host a huge Thanksgiving celebration at our house. I love my new Kitchenaid range so much that I have given her a name. She cooked our turkey and the other casseroles, etc. to perfection. I am looking forward to another successful Thanksgiving celebration here this year.

Have an 11 year old KitchenAid oven at Midwest home...works great! Bought a new one this year in Florida...not good. Takes twice as long to warm up...literally! The Fan whistles pretty loud too. Called two different service companies in to address these issues, and was informed that, "that's what they do now!) In fairness to KitchenAid, we have two complete kitchens filled with their appliances, and this piece is the only issue. But they are not doing anything about it. If they don't change this, I would advise to go elsewhere for an oven/range.

The oven has hot spots . Fan Noise will make you crazy
By Colorado Cookie

I bought this about 6 months ago. The top burners work just fine. The oven has hotspots and burns everthing. The broiler will nuke your food before you can get it out of there. The fan noise will is a piercing whistle that can be heard throughout the house. Such a dissapointment! Don't buy this oven.
Very load fan noise
from Frazee, MN
The Whirlpool/KitchenAid slide in ranges have a design flaw and make a very load irritating fan noise (high pitch whine). Our dog howled at first and guests think a car burglar alarm is going off. We bought it for our new home and moved in May 2015. Our fan was replaced and the noise did not change. It is amazing that they keep selling these models with all the noise complaints. Kitchen Aid rep told our dealer that there is nothing wrong and the customer just has to live with it. WOW, what a response!Considering taking this range to the landfill and buying a different brand.

So far, we love the stove. We have had several glass top stoves and never have we had one which cleans so easily. The options for convection conversion are great. The only complaint I have is the noise of the fan when the oven is on. Wish it would run only when cooking on convection and not on regular oven use.

Product bakes evenly with meats coming out juicy and not all dried out. The convection aspect give you a different easier form of cooking. Your foods bake quicker and deliciously done!If you like the glass top it cooks evenly and heats up quick and the heat is evenly distributed.

We bought this range about two months ago. I like how it looks and matches my other appliances. It fit nicely into the space we had. It cleans fairly easily. Like others have indicated, it takes quite awhile for the oven to heat. The fan does blow the entire time the stove is on. It is noticeable but not a big deal. I was disappointed when I moved a piece of stoneware from the oven to the stove top and scratched the stainless steel the wraps around the front edge. Not a very good design. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase.
