I have purchased many of the LG displays of this design for my organization. Overall I find it to be a good design with good picture quality. A great value for the price. I agree with other reviewers of these displays that the sound quality is not the best in terms of output level in part due to the way the speakers are "hidden" in the bezel. I do use these in classroom type settings though and have not really found it to be a huge issue for regular viewing. Overall, I would recommend this unit and will buy again.

Service and delivery comments:

I wanted to be sure and say a big "Thank You" to Abt for some great customer service. One of the displays I purchased in my order was damaged. I was all prepared to have issues trying to get the unit exchanged because of bad experiences I have had with other online companies. I made just one phone call to Abt customer service and the entire thing was taken care of in a fast and courteous manner. I received a follow up email from the Abt shipping department in less than 24 hours and they had arranged for delivery of a new unit and pickup of the damaged one and I had my new display in about a week. What a concept! I got a great price AND awesome customer service! Thanks Abt!

It was prompt but i informed the sales rep to call me ahead before the delivery so that i could wait for them at the lobby of my building instead of calling me at work by my doorman that there was a delivery for me. Overall, satisfied with the delivery.

I replaced a 42" TV that my wife wanted to move into our bedroom. I'm still not sold on 1080p and do not think it is worth the difference until a 1080p source becomes widely available. For the price you can't beat this monitor

Great Tv!!! Dont be fooled by the 720. If you put it next to the 1080 it would do just as good. It wasnt worth paying extra for the 1080. I was lucky because I saw the 720 and the 1080 side by side and couldn't see a difference in HD. You will not be disappointed.
