I needed some extra batteries for my 7D after shooting long hours in the field and not having access to an outlet. I own three of these batteries and its great. I can do a 6-7 hour shooting day no problem. Even if I have to charge one by the time I finish with the one in the camera the one on the charger has already finished charging. Please buy from Abt they are an authorized dealer I bought two batteries from another retailer and they were counterfeits with a fake serial number. These batteries were authorized with proper serial numbers.

Only use real Canon batteries. The camera can interrogate battery performance. Also the battery can be assigned with the camera software to evaluate performance.Also as always great pricing from ABT!
