I can't believe how much lighter this upright is than all my previous vacuum cleaners. I love the long cord, I like the automatic adjustment from carpet to non-carpeted floors and vacuuming the stairs is much easier. The canister is great for small, tight areas that the upright won't fit into. The tools are practical, easy to use and the suction on both units is very good. For the first time in my life I actually enjoy vacuuming! The only "con" for me is the canister vac is really loud. It's probably more noticeable because you have it on a shoulder strap so it's closer to your ears. But overall, I love the Hoover Platinum Bagged Upright Vacuum and the Canister. This was definitely money well spent.

It worked great on carpet and stairs. I have not used the vacuum enough to rate the replacement procedure of the bag but i have owned other Hoover vacuums and I am sure tht it will will simple.

Bought this model because of the positive reviews and the small canister vacuum included with purchase. The upright is built well, sturdy, but light weight and picks up dirt. I really like the light weight canister, I can do the corners of walls and places that the upright just can't reach. Attachments are on-board. The telescoping wand is a nice touch. Very happy with purchase and would recommend to anyone.

I read other reviews that said it was noisy. What vacuum cleaner isn't??? This a great product for it's price. Someone wrote "good for pet hair" and it is. I have three cats!! Hardwood floors not so good but the portable canister makes up for that. That canister is also great for walls and blinds.

Hoover makes a great vacum, but the real story here is the incredible customer service that I received from ABT.

I was somewhat reluctant to order a vacum on line due to the fact that UPS has a long history of destroying all shipments delivered to my home.

I placed my order with ABT and UPS delivered my vacum quickly, but just like clock work, the vacum was delivered with extensive damages.
